The Danger of Wrong Conclusions
"The scribes who came down from Jerusalem were saying, 'He is possessed by Beelzebul,' and 'He casts out the demons by the ruler of the demons.’"
Mark 3:22
Religious leaders traveled 120 miles to investigate Jesus.
After witnessing His power, they reached a shocking conclusion: He was working for Satan.
These weren't casual observers but trained religious scholars.
They saw Jesus cast out demons and heal the sick, yet attributed His works to Satan.
Their theological training couldn't overcome their hardened hearts.
Today, people witness God's work in changed lives, answered prayers, and transformed communities.
Yet some still conclude that Christianity is harmful or that believers are deluded.
The evidence is clear, but pride and prejudice can blind even the most educated minds.
Examine your own heart for areas where pride might be preventing you from seeing God's work clearly.
Ask God to reveal any wrong conclusions you've drawn about His plans for your life.
Prayer:
Father, protect me from the pride that blinds. Help me recognize Your hand at work in my life and in the lives of others. Give me humility to admit when I'm wrong and wisdom to see truth clearly. Don't let my preconceptions keep me from Your blessings. Amen.
