No One Is Out Of Reach

"Jesus got up and went away from there to the region of Tyre. And when He had entered a house, He wanted no one to know of it; yet He could not escape notice. But after hearing of Him, a woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit immediately came and fell at His feet.”
Mark 7:24–25 

Jesus chose Tyre deliberately. This was enemy territory, a region with a long history of hostility toward Israel.  

He didn't wander there by accident. He went where others wouldn't, to reach someone others ignored. 

The Syrophoenician woman had no theological credentials and no cultural standing. She was a Gentile in a world where the gospel had not yet fully arrived on her doorstep.  

But she had heard about Jesus, and that was enough. She ran to His feet without hesitation.  

Her desperation became her faith. 

God has never been impressed by pedigree. He is moved by genuine, desperate trust.  

This woman had it.  

She didn't wait for a formal invitation.  

She pressed through every obstacle because she believed Jesus could do what no one else could. 

Think about the person in your life you've written off as unreachable. A stubborn friend, a resistant family member, a neighbor who wants nothing to do with God.  

Jesus walked into Tyre on purpose. He is still walking into hard places on purpose today.  

You may be the person He sends. 

Pray specifically for one person you believe is far from God. Then look for one concrete way to show up in their life this week.

Lord, thank You for going where others won't. Soften my heart toward those I've given up on, and make me willing to go where You lead. Amen.
