Little Becomes Much

"And He said to them, 'How many loaves do you have? Go look!' And when they found out, they said, 'Five, and two fish.' And He commanded them all to sit down by groups on the green grass.”
Mark 6:38–39 

God doesn't need much to do miracles. He just needs what you have. Five small loaves and two fish in the hands of Jesus became a feast for thousands. 

The disciples inventoried their resources: practically nothing.  

One boy's lunch. Stale bread and dried fish.  

But Jesus didn't ask what they didn't have. He asked what they did have. Then He took their little and made it much. 

Notice the green grass detail. It echoes Psalm 23: "He makes me lie down in green pastures."  

Jesus is the Good Shepherd providing for His flock.  

What seemed like a crisis became a communion. What felt like chaos became worship. 

Stop focusing on what you don't have and start offering what you do have.  

God multiplies surrendered resources, not hoarded ones.  

Give Him your five loaves and two fish today. 

Prayer:

Father, I offer You what little I have. It doesn't seem like much, but I know You can do more with my little than I can do with my much. Take my small gifts, my limited resources, my weak faith, and multiply them for Your glory. Help me trust that You are enough when I am not. In Jesus' name, Amen.
