Who Do You Say He Is?
Mark 1:1-8
Mark begins his Gospel with clarity: Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
John prepares the way. The crowds gather. The message is proclaimed.
Everything in these opening verses points to one reality: the King has come.
And that reality demands a response.
You can admire Jesus.
You can study Jesus.
You can respect Jesus.
But eventually, you must decide.
Who do you say He is?
Mark writes to answer that question. The sermon makes it clear. And now the question comes to you personally.
If Jesus is the Son of God, then He deserves your trust. Your obedience. Your life.
Today, don’t delay.
If you have never trusted Him, place your faith in Him now. If you’ve drifted, return. If you’ve resisted, surrender.
The herald has spoken. The King has arrived.
Respond.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I don’t want to stay undecided. If You are truly the Son of God, then I want to follow You fully. Strengthen my faith and help me respond today. Amen.
